SWFL... You're so Cool

This weeks South West Florida Newsletter is going to be a little different. Today we are going to discover the top 5 local restaurants here in Cape Coral and Fort Myers.  Here you will find one of a kind dining experiences you can have throughout SWFL.I hope these adventures we share will allow you to see what kind of experiences you can have in Florida.

FISH TALE GRILL BY MERRICK SEAFOOD, 1229 Southeast 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33904, USA

Everyday is a new day at Fish Tale Grill. With changing daily specials and the freshest source of fish and seafood, you can find everything you are looking for in this unique property. Relax and enjoy a drink at the modern bar or sit outside and enjoy the sunset on the large patio.

Make sure you try the Group, Shrimp and Scallop Seafood Platter $24 or the Cranberry Macadamia Sea Bass $28

Coak Soakers, 837 SE 47TH ST, Cape Coral Fl

Coak Soakers is one of my personal favorites because the menu is never the same. You could go to this local hangout everyday and not eat the same thing twice. Take a seat in the outdoor patio area and enjoy the live music and friendly patrons. Drinks are served in unique mason jars, so bring your sandals and meet the locals.

Be sure to try the Risotto! It is truly to die for. The risotto changes daily and uses fresh ingredients and unique pairings like pork belly and white wine to make this decedent dish. The devil eggs also change daily. These aren't your mothers deviled eggs but you'll be glad you tried them.
Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery, 927 Cape Coral Pkwy, Cape Coral Fl

If you have ever visited the area you've probably been told about Nevermind Bar. Shannon, the main chef at Nevermind Bar, retired from the fine dining scene to create this laid back yet upscale bar. This bar is one of the most popular hangouts for Friday evening drinks and networking and the food is to out of this world. When you walk into this sleek black restaurant you'll notice the detailed artwork of all sorts. The menu changes daily but the tried and trues remain the same. Be sure to check out the Beastie Bar nextdoor and Mix.

Make sure you grab the Lava Roll Appetizer and basically everything else on the menu. Tuesday thru Saturday they offer cocktail & tapes for $12. This is quite a steal! See you there!
Ford's Garage Multiple Locations, Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Estero

Looking for some good ole fashion Cheeseburgers, then this is your place. Ford's garage has all of the comfort food and offers some new types of burger pairings you might not have thought about. Coupled with the craft beers and fun atmosphere this restaurant will have you coming back for more. The theme of the restaurant is Ford Cars and it is carried out well throughout the restaurant. Old Ford are suspended from the ceiling and you can even dine in one on the patio. The napkin holders are hose clamps and even the sinks are made from old wrenches and pipes. It is really cool.

Make sure you try their burgers. It is what they are SWFL famous for. But you should also check out the Maine Lobster Mac and Cheese and Secret Recipe Rum Cake.
Rumrunners, 5848 Cape Harbour Drive, Cape Coral Fl

This upscale waterfront dining establishment is where I always take my clients. The food is beautiful and delicious and the restaurant is located at one of the most popular local hangout spots, Cape Harbour. Arrive by car or boat and dine on delicious Spicy Crab Spring Rolls or sample the Choclate Duo and then head next door to dance the night away or check out the bike show. Everything at Rumrunners is made to expertise. The romantic atmosphere  and the sound of the water makes this one of my top locations to check out when visiting South West Florida.
